Zusammenfassung:	Composite components (100) having a T or L-shaped configuration that include features that reduce void defects between abutting laminate portions and provide improved mechanical properties are provided. Methods (2000 for forming such components (100) are also provided. In one exemplary aspect, a composite component (100) defines a first direction and a second direction and includes a wedged-shaped noodle (126) at a joint interface (124) between an abutting first laminate portion (110) extending along the first direction and a second laminate portion (112) extending along the second direction. The noodle (126) has a first surface (128) that is angled with respect to the second direction. At least one of the plies (118) of the second laminate portion (112) terminate and attach to the angled first surface (128) of the noodle (126).
