Zusammenfassung:	An aspect of the present invention relates to a shoe, in particular sports shoe, which comprises an upper (120), wherein a majority by weight of the upper is made from a thermoplastic base material, and a sole (110), wherein a majority by weight of the sole is made from the same thermoplastic base material. The sole (110) and the upper (120) are individually fabricated and joined to each other. Further aspects relate to a method for manufacturing a shoe and a method for recovering a base material from a shoe.
