description The invention relates to an apparatus for winding a paper web. The apparatus further comprises a cleaning device (11) with at least one nozzle for blowing air against the web-contacting side of the flexible belt at a point where the flexible belt is not in contact with the paper. The invention also relates to a method of removing dust particles.
