The exhaust system (400) may include an exhaust collector (130), a transition duct (140) downstream of the exhaust collector (130), the exhaust collector (130) positioned within an engine room (155), and a blackflow prevention system (410) positioned about the exhaust collector (130), the engine room (155), and the transition duct (140) so as to prevent a backflow of the hot combustion gases (35) into the engine room (155).
