To prevent the internal wiring (9) to be touched or damaged by the cover part (39) during and/or after assembly of the electric device (1), according to the invention, the wiring (9) extends over the trough wall (63) into the trough section (61) to the terminal area (31), and the base part (17) comprises at least one wiring guide element (29) which supports the wiring (9) at a position spaced apart from the sealing surface (67) opposite the trough wall (63).
