APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING STRINGER FOR WOVEN SLIDE FASTENER

[Problem] To weave a stringer for a woven slide fastener using sinkers. [Solution] This apparatus for manufacturing a stringer for a woven slide fastener produces a stringer (90) for a woven slide fastener in which a coil-like element chain (95) is woven along one side edge portion of a woven fastener tape (91). The apparatus for manufacturing the stringer for the woven slide fastener is characterized in that: the apparatus is provided with a needle bed (30) having a plurality of needle grooves (30a), a plurality of weaving needles (31) which are guided by the needle grooves, a plurality of thread guiding needles (32) through which a weaving thread (92) for fastener tapes passes, a plurality of sinkers (33) for pressing one end of the stringer, a guide (34) through which a linear monofilament (94) passes through, and a hook (38) on which the monofilament is wound; the guide (34) and the hook (38) are disposed on one side of the needle bed in the direction of depth of the needle grooves; and the sinkers (33) are disposed on the other side of the needle bed in the direction of depth of the needle grooves.
