Zusammenfassung:Provided is a method of displaying a user interface of a portable terminal having a two-sided touch screen where a first touch sensor and a second touch sensor are formed to the front side (115a) and the backside (115b) of a display unit (115). The method includes displaying a user interface including at least one of a background screen and at least one or more contents in the display unit. The method also includes changing brightness of an area (200, 210) of the user interface according to a detected state of the portable terminal based on a touch event.
