Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a belt finishing device (10) comprising a guiding device (28) for guiding a finishing belt (24), a rotational drive (14) for rotating a workpiece (18) to be finished about the workpiece axis (20), and an oscillating drive (16), by means of which the finishing belt (24) and the workpiece (18) can be driven in an oscillating manner relative to each other in a direction parallel to the workpiece axis (20). A finishing belt store (26) is provided for the finishing belt (24), and the finishing belt (24) can be fed from the store to a working region (30) and from there to a collecting region (32). The collecting region (32) is equipped with a separating device (34) for separating finishing belt sections, said separating device having at least one motor-driven separating element (50, 52).
