In order to produce said flap device, the metal sleeve (30) is overmolded with a plastic material for forming the flap body (14). Upon inserting the drive shaft (16) into the channel housing (10), the drive shaft (16) is inserted into the sleeve (30), the flap body (14) is positioned in the channel (12), and only thereafter is the drive shaft (16) fastened to the sleeve (30).
