Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for dewatering a fiber web, in particular a paper, cardboard, or tissue web, comprising a belt press which has a press nip extended in the web running direction, said press nip being formed between a permeable press belt and a curved counter element surface which is at least partly looped by the press belt. The fiber web is guided through the press nip of the belt press together with a permeable support belt. Means are provided in order to supply a fluid to at least one sub-region of the press nip of the belt press such that the fluid flows through the support belt and the fiber web. The fluid supply means comprise a blowing device which is arranged and designed such that the fluid flows from the curved surface of the counter element of the belt press to the press belt of the belt press.
