Zusammenfassung:	Forming webs and packages are provided having improved sealability to peelable lidstocks. The thermoformed containers may have a mouth having an opening and a flange disposed about the opening, the flange formed from a forming web and having a thickness greater than about 12 mils and up to about 80 mils. The forming web may have a base layer with a skim coating thereon, a portion of the skim coating being on the flange having a skim coating thickness from about 2 mils to about 8 mils. A peelable lid may include a film with an inner lid sealant layer which is sealed to the portion of the skim coating on the flange, the skim coating and inner lid sealant layer each having a common polyolefin majority component, the common polyolefin component being different than a majority component of the base layer.
