The motor body (2) is housed in the motor housing (1). The damping member (3) is disposed on an outer surface of the motor housing (1). The damping member (3) includes a damping layer (31) and a constraining layer (32). The damping layer (31) is made of an organic polymeric material, and bonded to the outer surface of the motor housing (1). The constraining layer (32) is made of at least one of a resin mixed with an inorganic compound and an elastomer mixed with an inorganic compound. The constraining layer (32) is disposed on the damping layer (31).
