description A communication system is disclosed herein. An example of a communication system includes a network and a server including a port connected to the network. The communication system also includes a device connected to the network that communicates data over the network via a printing protocol or an HTTP protocol. The communication system additionally includes a communication module associated with the port of the server that establishes both a printing link that utilizes the printing protocol via the port of the server to transceive data over the network and an HTTP link that utilizes the HTTP protocol via the same port of the server to transceive the data over the network.
