Zusammenfassung:	A method in an electronic device for determining status of one battery cell is provided. The battery cell is arranged to operate within the electronic device. The electronic device is arranged to comprise the battery cell. A strain gauge is attached to the battery cell. The method comprises establishing a value of the dimension of the battery cell by use of the strain gauge, determining status of the battery cell based on the established dimension value compared to a reference value and a threshold related to the dimension of the battery cell. In another aspect, an electronic device arranged to determine status of one battery cell is provided.
