Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for measuring pressure exerted by earth material, comprising: providing a pipe (10) in the earth material, wherein the pipe (10) has a longitudinal bore (13) defining an inner diameter of the pipe (10), providing a device adapted to be moved within the pipe (10) along the longitudinal bore (13), wherein the device (100) comprises sensors adapted to sense the inner diameter of the pipe (10). Then the device (100) is moved along the pipe (10) and a measurement of the inner diameter of the pipe (10) is taken in a first transversal direction (21) at at least one predetermined longitudinal position (28) of the pipe (10). Then a measurement of the inner diameter of the pipe (10) in a second transversal direction (22) at the at least one predetermined longitudinal position (28) of the pipe (10) is taken, wherein the second transversal direction (22) is oriented differently to the first transversal direction (21). Finally the ovalization of the pipe (10) is derived at that predetermined longitudinal position (28) of the pipe through substracting the diameter value of the first transversal direction from the diameter value of the second transversal direction (2). |
