Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a display device (10), in particular in the form of a multi-layer film body. The display device (10) has, in a first area (22), a first electrode (41), a second electrode (42), a third electrode (43) and a display layer (122) with a display material. The display layer (122) is arranged between the first electrode (41) and the second electrode (42). The third electrode (43) is arranged on the side of the display layer (122) facing away from the first electrode (41). The first electrode (41) is formed as an isolated electrode. The first electrode (41) overlaps both the second electrode (42) and the third electrode (43) at least in areas when viewed perpendicular to the plane spanned by the display layer (122).
