Zusammenfassung: | The rotor of the rotary machine is subjected to a thrust that acts only in axial direction during the operating time. The thrust is received and dissipated by a thrust bearing (43) of the bearing (39) via a sliding unit. The bearing is comprised of another thrust bearing (45) which is arranged to generate a force that acts on the thrust bearing (43) in the direction of the thrust at least temporarily at the same time as the thrust occurs. The force is made to act in the main direction of thrust force for reducing the axial play and/or for damping axial vibrations of the rotor. |
