Zusammenfassung:Multilayer composite material comprises: two outer layers containing at least one metal comprising coinage metals, stainless steel or aluminum; at least one middle layer that contains at least one thermoplastic resin and is located between the two outer layers; and an interfacial layer containing at least a hot-melt adhesive between the respective outer layer and the middle layer. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparing the multilayer composite material, comprising forming a layer structure from at least two metal layers, at least two hot-melt adhesive layers and at least one plastic layer containing at least one thermoplastic resin such that the plastic layer is arranged between the two hot-melt adhesive layers, where the two metal layers are disposed on the outside of the hot-melt adhesive layer and the layer structure is subsequently laminated at a temperature of 100-190[deg] C and a pressure of 3-400 N/cm 2>; (2) a blank for producing coins, comprising the multilayer composite material; and (3) producing blanks, comprising punching out the blanks from the multilayer composite material.
