description A computer implemented method, computer program product and computer system for sensor calibration support. The computer system receives measurement data from at least one sensor node out of a plurality of sensor nodes. The measurement data is validated against an associated sensor state model and a global model, wherein the global model has knowledge about spatio-temporal phenomena observed by the plurality of sensor nodes and wherein the associated sensor state model is associated with the at least one sensor node and the associated sensor state model is based on at least one sensor parameter of the associated at least one sensor node. A de-calibration of the at least one sensor node is detected based on the measurement data validation and a local model is retrieved from the global model for the at least one de-calibrated sensor node, wherein the local model is a spatio-temporal snapshot of the global model. At least one sensor parameter of the at least one de-calibrated sensor node is optimized by comparing the at least one de-calibrated sensor node to at least one calibrated neighboring sensor node from the local model and the at least one optimized sensor parameter is provided to update the at least one sensor state model associated with the at least one de-calibrated sensor node.
