Zusammenfassung: | The method involves comparing a predicted stabilization altitude with a setpoint stabilization altitude. An optimized vertical trajectory is provided as a function of determined current values of the parameters of an aircraft, and of difference between the predicted and setpoint stabilization altitudes when the difference between the predicted stabilization altitude and the setpoint stabilization altitude is in an absolute value higher than a predefined altitude threshold. The optimized vertical trajectory is transmitted to guiding units (9) embedded on an on-board of an aircraft. An independent claim is also included for a device for optimizing management of a vertical path of an aircraft.
