The non-aqueous electrolyte battery may meet the following two formulas: 1 ‰¤ Q2/Q1 (I) and 1 ‰¤ C/A ‰¤ 2 (II), where Q1 represents a capacitance in a facing portion of the negative electrode, Q2 represents a capacitance in the facing portion of the positive electrode, A represents an area of a surface including the facing portion of the negative electrode of the negative electrode layer, and C represents an area of a surface including the facing portion of the positive electrode of the positive electrode layer.
