Zusammenfassung:The device has switching units for producing a control signal during collision of movable parts (2.2) e.g. robot arms, of a device (2.1) to be monitored with persons or objects. A contact-less sensor system is formed as a capacitive sensor system, and has a sensor element (2.3) formed from electrodes. A touch sensor system is formed from optical fibers, and is arranged on the movable parts that are moved by electric motors. The sensor systems are combined with a system that is formed as a motor current monitoring system for monitoring motor current in the motors. An independent claim is also included for a method for securing devices with movable parts. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sicherheitseinrichtung für Vorrichtungen (2.1) mit frei im Raum beweglichen Teilen (2.2), insbesondere für Handhabungsgeräte wie Industrieroboter oder führerlose Transportgeräte, mit Schaltmitteln, die bei Kollision der bewegten Teile mit Personen oder Gegenständen ein Steuersignal bewirken, gekennzeichnet durch ein berührungsloses Sensorsystem (1.4).
