Method for producing adsorbent materials for liquid chromatography using zwitterionic silanes

Preparing zwitterionic adsorbent material for liquid chromatography, comprises: (a) reacting a silane compound (I) with either a sulfonic acid compound (II) or a sulfonic acid compound (III); and (b) reacting the reaction product obtained in (a) with a solid carrier comprising polymeric or inorganic carriers. Preparing zwitterionic adsorbent material for liquid chromatography, comprises: (a) reacting a silane compound of formula (R 2>)-Si(R 3>)(R 1>)-R 4>-X (I) with either a sulfonic acid compound of formula (Y1-R 5>-S(=O)(OR 6>)=O) (II) or sulfonic acid compound of formula (III); and (b) reacting the reaction product obtained in (a) with a solid carrier comprising polymeric or inorganic carriers. R 1>-R 3>optionally substituted 1-20C alkoxy, 1-20C aralkoxy, 1-20C alkyl or 1-20C alkenyl or halide; R 4>, R 5>optionally substituted 1-20C alkylene, 1-20C alkenylene or 6-20C arylene; R 6>H, optionally substituted 1-20C alkyl, 1-20C alkenyl or 6-20C arylene; R 7>optionally substituted 2-20C alkylene or 2-20C alkenylene; either X : pri-, sec- or tert amino (when the reaction of silane compound (I) with sulfonic acid compound (III)); or X or Y1 : pri-, sec- or tert- amino, halide or oxirane (when the reaction of silane compound (I) with sulfonic acid compound (II)). Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von mit zwitterionischen Silanen modifizierten Adsorbentien für die Flüssigchromatographie, ein Adsorbens, das nach diesem Verfahren hergestellt ist, eine Chromatographiesäule, die ein solches Adsorbens enthält sowie schließlich die Verwendung einer derartigen Chromatographiesäule für die Flüssigchromatographie.
