Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brandschutzverglasung mit wenigstens zwei Glaspaketen, die jeweils zumindest zwei zueinander parallele Glasscheiben aufweisen, wobei zwischen den Glasscheiben zumindest bereichsweise eine im Brandfall aufschäumenden Füllschicht, insbesondere eine Alkalisilikatschicht angeordnet ist. Es ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass die Glaspakete mit einem nichtbrennbaren, transparenten, organischen Kleber als Verbindungsschicht verbunden sind.
