Zusammenfassung: | The valve has a gate (116) designed to be mounted to pivot about a shaft (120) between a closed position of an orifice for passage of air and an open position of the orifice. A seal (152) extends along a portion of a peripheral edge (156) of the gate. A plate (158) attaches the seal to the peripheral edge of the gate, where the gate and the seal attachment plate are made of plastic, and are formed as single piece or welded/bonded together. The gate and/or the attachment plate are made of a thermoplastic material that is reinforced with fibers such as glass fibers.
