Gem stone (1) comprising a luminescent crystal, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparation of luminescent crystal, comprising melting or evaporating a crystal-forming composition with luminescent characteristics, preferably melting or evaporating small and minute crystals, producing the crystallization conditions, crystallizing to a crystal and removing the crystal; and (2) a jewelry piece for wearing and/or clothing of a person, comprising at least one gem stone and a reinforcement arrangement, preferably a frame.
