The flame arrestor is protected by a lock (33) on a hot gas outlet. An independent claim is included for a device for inspecting high temperature chambers of a gas turbine. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Inspektion einer Hochtemperaturkammer wobei ein Videoskop mit einer Manövriervorrichtung (32) versehen wird und das Videoskop mit der Manövriervorrichtung zumindest teilweise über einen in der Hochtemperaturkammer vorhandenen Flammwächter (35) in die Hochtemperaturkammer eingebracht wird.
