The present invention further relates to novel vectors containing an ara D gene, a mutated form of an ara D gene, a complementary sequence thereof, or a catalytically active fragment thereof and to novel bacterial strains deficient of the ara D gene. The present invention additionally relates to a method of selecting the cells transformed with a plasmid, which contains the gene of interest. |
