The filtered water is passed to a vessel (3) containing active carbon and zinc oxide granules, and then to a second rotation filter (8). After the second filter, the water is evaporated in an electrically-heated evaporator (5) for the reformer. The system is controlled by electric, hydraulic or pneumatic valves. Wasser stellt eine wichtige Ressource in einem Luftfahrzeug dar. In heutigen Luftfahrzeugen werden ausreichende Wasserreserven in dafür vorgesehenen Behältern mitgeführt, welche vom Bodenpersonal regelmäßig aufgetankt werden. Gemäß einem Ausführungsbeispiel der vorliegenden Erfindung wird eine Wasseraufbereitungsanlage für Luftfahrzeuge bereitgestellt, durch welche ein Grauwasser-/Schwarzwassergemisch, welches im Bordbetrieb entsteht, in ausreichender Menge und Qualität aufbereitet werden kann, so dass es von einer nachgeschalteten Brennstoffaufbereitungsanlage nutzbar ist. Somit ist vorteilhafterweise der Wasserkreislauf innerhalb des Luftfahrzeugs geschlossen und kostenintensive Wasserspeicher entfallen.
