Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Ansteuermittel ausgebildet sind, die Laserdiode (10) unterhalb einer Stromschwelle (ITH) zu betreiben, bei deren Überschreiten die Laserdiode (10) in einen Bereich induzierter Emission von elektromagnetischer Strahlung arbeitet, so dass die Laserdiode (10) im Bereich spontaner Emission von elektromagnetischer Strahlung betreibbar ist.
