Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Besäumen eines tiefgezogenen Blechteils, das längs der Schnittkante mittels einer Laserstrahl-Kehlnaht mit einem zweiten Blechteil verbunden werden soll. Ein solches Verfahren dient zur Vorbereitung der zu verschweißenden Schnittkante. Dabei werden zum Besäumen zwei scherend gegeneinander bewegte Schneidbacken verwendet. Die Schneidkante zumindest einer der Schneidbacken weist Ausbrüche auf, so dass längs der Schnittkante des besäumten Blechbauteils Zähne ausgebildet werden. |
