Zusammenfassung:The system to determine the concentration of particles in an exhaust gas flow (2) from an internal combustion motor (1), and especially a diesel motor, has a monitor (7) which is sensitive to an oxidizing agent to register a concentration of the oxidizing agent in the exhaust gas. A unit (3) stores and generates the oxidizing agent to be fed into the exhaust gas through a dosing unit (4). The oxidizing agent is e.g. atmospheric air, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, nitrogen dioxide and nitric acid.
