Method of manufacturing a spaced formed, foil shaped support layer of brittle material
A gaseous or liquid phase material is deposited on the spatially shaped surface of basic mold (1). The deposited material is solidified to form a hard brittle material layer (3), which is then removed from spatially shaped surface to provide carrier layer with hard brittle material.
