A cover lock assembly (20) for a process transmitter (10) having threadably removable end caps (14, 16) and corrugated outer surfaces (48) is provided for engaging the corrugated surfaces (48) by way of a toothed cover lock (44) which is removably affixed to the transmitter housing (12).
