| Zusammenfassung: | An improved artificial sea-water and a composition for preparing thereof are provided. Said composition for preparing said artificial sea-water comprises an electrolyte mixture which, by being dissolved in a proper amount of water, can form an aqueous solution which simulates the natural sea-water in composition except that it contains one or more boron compounds within a concentration range from 0.002 to 0.05 w/v% calculated as boron. A method for improving the pH stability of an artificial sea-water by adding one or more boron compounds is also provided. |
