Le procédé décrit, qui sert à usiner par détonation au plasma des articles métalliques, consiste à remplir une chambre de réaction (1) avec un mélange de gaz combustible et avec un matériau pulvérulent et à introduire dans la chambre (1), plus particulièrement, un élément choisi parmi les groupes III, IV, V, VI du système périodique des éléments, puis à faire démarrer la combustion par détonation du mélange de gaz combustible à l'extérieur de la chambre (1) et à faire passer le courant électrique à travers les produits de combustion du mélange, le matériau pulvérulent et l'élément chimique introduit. A cet effet, dans un dispositif de réalisation de ce procédé, on prévoit, plus particulièrement dans la paroi de la chambre (1), une buse (4) permettant d'introduire ledit élément chimique dans la chambre (1). |
