The invention relates to a hydrophilised, microporous membrane and to a production process therefor. The object of the invention is to produce a hydrophilised, microporous membrane made of PTFE. According to the invention, the hydrophilised microporous membrane consists of unmodified PTFE and 2.5 to 25 % by mass of highly functionalised PTFE as a largely polymer-identical hydrophilising agent. The highly functionalised PTFE is obtained by irradiation and, if appropriate, by additions of sulphites and/or carbonates. The invention also relates to production processes for the membranes. |
