The method according to the present invention is useful in selection and seed production.

According to the invention, as the sterilizing agent use is made of derivatives of phosphoric acids of the general formula: wherein R is H, a C1-C4 alkoxy, dimethylamine, wherein X is O, NH; B is H, a C1 -C4 alkyl, phenyl, D is H, CH3; A is a C1-C4 alkyl, phenyl furyl; R' is OH, ONH4, OAlk(C1-C4), phenyl; R2 is a C1-C4 alkyl, NaNH4, NH3Alk(C1-C4), NH2Alk2(C1-C4), or mixtures thereof.
