PROCESS FOR THE CONTINUOUS SEPARATION OF MALEIC ANHYDRIDE FROM GASEOUS REACTION MIXTURES

In this process, the gaseous reaction mixture containing the maleic anhydride is brought into contact with an alcohol, the resulting gaseous substances are brought into contact countercurrently with a dicarboxylic diester and the liquid process product is removed from the bottom of the reactor.
