A METHOD OF ENHANCING AND CONTROLLING THE SOLUBILITY OF LITHIUM SALTS IN LIQUID SULFUR DIOXIDE

The solubility of lithium salts in sulfur dioxide-based solvent systems is enchanced and controlled by the presence of a salt which contains a cation selected from the group consisting of metal cation complexes, quaternary ammonium cations and organic phosphonium cations.
