A first three-way valve is arranged in the used air exhaust duct in front of the air-to-air heat exchanger, and a second three-way valve is arranged in the fresh air supply duct behind the air-to-air heat exchanger viewed in the direction of fresh air supply for switching the air conditioner into first, second and third modes wherein the air conditioner functions as a heat pump, a heat pump and a fresh air supplier, and a fresh air supplier, respectively.
