Combustion chamber of a gas turbine, in which an air distribution chamber (19) and a combustion space (7) are positionally separated from one another within the combustion chamber envelope (1), a multitude of tubular elements (2) being located between the distribution chamber and the combustion space, in which tubular elements (2) a premixing and pre-evaporation of the fuel oil supplied through premixing nozzles (15') and/or a premixing of the combustion gas supplied through premixing nozzles (15'') with the compressor air takes place, each tubular element (2) being provided with a flameholder (3) in the direction towards the combustion space (7), characterized in that a diffusion nozzle (8) directed into the combustion space (7) is located within the flameholder (3), through which diffusion nozzle fuel can be injected directly into the combustion space.
