Zusammenfassung: | In the dimerization of hexafluoropropene oxide to give oligomeric acid fluorides of the formula the ratio of the oligomeric constituents formed is directed, in an improved manner, towards the formation of the dimer (n=0) if the reaction is carried out in the presence of a catalyst system which consists of a mixture of a copper (I) compound and a copper (II) compound mixed with a complex-forming agent from the group of the nitriles, isocyanides, tertiary phosphines and cyclic hydrocarbons with 6 to 12 ring atoms and 2 to 3 double bonds in the ring, and an aprotic organic solvent. The dimer is an intermediate product in the synthesis of perfluoropropyl perfluorovinyl ether, the latter being employed as a comonomer in fluorine-containing copolymers. |
