Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to protection means against forgery and checking objects authenticity to be protected. There also proposed a method for making a transparent protective element according to which a) there provided a substrate (1) transparent in visible spectral region, having two working sides; b) at each substrate working side a barrier layer is formed transparent in visible spectral region by a method of direct printing using a liquid composition based on an organic solvent and a polymer lacquer comprising 1-7% of UV absorber with red spectrum edge absorption within 400 nanometer; c curing said barrier layer at each of said substrate side at 70-80°C; d) imprinting at least one latent image at least at one portion of the substrate at each of its working sides on the other side of the substrate (1) using a colorless liquid composition comprising UV absorber with red spectrum edge absorption within 270-360 nanometer, so that latent images by the method of direct printing using a liquid composition based on an organic solvent and a polymer lacquer comprising 0.5-10% of a colorless photosensitive dye adding 0-3% UV absorber; e) subjecting to curing the obtained latent images on both working sides of the substrate at 70-80°C; f) applying a thin protective layer, transparent in UV spectrum region ion both sides of the substrate through the entire surface thereof, wherein the reflective power of the protective layer substantially coincides with the reflective power of the barrier layer material and the latent images providing invisibility of the latent images outline forming with the naked eye; wherein the imprinted latent images on both working sides of the substrate are arranged independently of each other enabling to provide an independent separate visualization of the latent images on each of the substrate working side. There also provided a protective element, an important document comprising said protective element and an object to be protected comprising said protective element made according to said method.
