Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparation of (R)-tamsulosine (I) or its salts ((R)-(-)-5-[2-[2-(2-ethoxyphenoxy)ethylamino]propyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide) from (II); and (2) (II) and (IV).
