| Zusammenfassung: | The apparatus (1) has a measuring unit e.g. ohmmeter or ammeter, measuring resistance values of a varistor (2) and/or intensities of current passing through the varistor, when respective voltages is applied to terminals (2A, 2B) of the varistor. The voltages are generated by a voltage generation unit. An electronic processing unit compares the two measured values to calculate a difference value. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a burn-in of a varistor by application of voltage between two terminals of the varistor. |
