(A) may contain up to 10 molar % of CH 3 SiO3/ 2 units. (B) may be present at 2-25 % by wt. of (A). The composition may contain up to 135% of the wt. of (A) of a filler, e.g. SiO 2 , ZnO or CaCO 3 . There may also be present up to 50% by wt. of (A) of a α,#-bis(trimethylsiloxy)- poly(diorganosiloxane). A dialkyl tin carboxylate may also be present. Examples of (B) are [(C 2 H 5 O) 3 SiCH 2 ] 2 NCH 2 CH =CH 2 ; [(C 2 H 5 O) 3 SiCH 2 ] 2 N(CH 2 ) 3 CH 3 ; [(C 2 H 5 O) 3 SiCH 2 ] 2 NCH 2 CH 2 C 6 H 5 ; and [(C 2 H 5 O) 3 SiCH 2 ] 2 NCH 2 C 6 H 5 . The compositions cure to an elastic solid state on contact with water, e.g. atmospheric moisture at >50‹C. |
