Zusammenfassung:An assembly separates light liquids esp. oil from a mixture of oil and water (2). The novelty is that the oil separator (R1, R2) assembly consists of a chamber (15,17) holding sub-surface bundles of structured material (5) which aid the separation process. The bundles of structured materials (5) are packets of PTFE chips, knitted wire-plastic fabrics, bodies, or plastic granules aiding the coalescence of the oil. A heater assembly (23, 27) further improves the coalescing process.
