Cigarette filter

An improved filter for tobacco smoke which retains most of the tar, nicotine and harmful gases from tobacco smoke. The filter comprises fibrous threads, equal amounts of two organic acids or salts of organic acids or polyhydric alcohols being distributed overall on the fibrous threads.
