description | A bus-bar connector has two rectangular metal endplates and between them a matrix of alternating connecting plates separated by insulating plates. A first long through bolt is used to hold the assembly together. Several plugs formed from rectangular plates with slit ends are also arranged between the endplates, protruding from them at right angles to the axis of the busbars to be joined. They are held in place by a second through bolt, over which the slits are positioned to give a predetermined outstand. The through bolts use disk washers on the outer faces of the endplates. USE - Connects two bus-bars and has adjustable plug for further connections. |
